Boys and girls take 1st place at Holy Trinity Invitational

The Boone girls dominated start to finish winning all three relay races. Jae Crawford and Alexis Cosgrave were 1st and 2nd respectively in both the shot put and discus. Newcomer Nilda Osario placed 1st in both the long jump and triple jump with senior All-State athlete Destiny Caraballo placing 2nd in both events. Freshman Sophia Jordan placed 3rd in the 100M and freshman Michelle Gunn was 4th in the 400M. Carolyn Brown won the 800M and ran a tremendous anchor our 4x400 relay. Marie Outler won the 300 hurdles. On the distance side Hannah Schneeberger was 5th and Natalie Snead was 6th. 


The boys battled Sebastian River all day. Our boys won the first race of the day, which was the 4x800 relay (Michael Fabrizio, Jackson Snead, Jack Krantz, Joey Trujillo) to set the tone for the day. Scoring points in the long jump were Trelawney Scott (3rd), Jammion Brown (4th), and Gene Nobles (5th). Trelawney would also place 3rd in the high jump. Xavier Urrutia was 2nd in the triple jump and 110 hurdles. Junior Jacob Hanson captured his first individual title by winning the 300 hurdles. He would also place 3rd in the 110 hurdles. Christian Roberts was 2nd in the 100 and anchored the 4x400 relay in 52.99.  Aaron Roberts was 2nd in the 200. Jack Krantz ran (2nd), Jake Colvin  (3rd) and Will Daniel (4th) scored the points to put us ahead of Sebastian River and seal the championship.
