3/9/2018 3:11:00 PM

Braves Lacrosse took on district rival Timber Creek in game which could decide playoff seedings. Both Braves squads had no trouble in putting away the Wolves. JV won by a score of 11-1. Sam Schionning led the charge with three goals and three assists, both game-highs, as well as his six points.

With JV setting the tone, Varsity was able to toy with the Wolves as well, annihilating them 17-4. Jack Reddeck went for five goals and two assists, while Mikey Gresosky scored five of his own and added an assist. Jaiden Corrente was the dishman with five assists.

Two days later, the Braves would take on University in another district matchup. Again, both squads had little trouble, declawing the Cougars. JV won by a score of 18-0, their highest goal production of the season to date. Varsity would go on to win 10-3. Jack Reddeck ammassed seven points, scoring three goals and dishing out four assists. Jaiden Corrente notched a hatrick of his own, while Cole Dalton's eight saves kept the Cougars caged away.

Both squads are back in action on Thursday, March 15, when they travel to East River for another district match between the Spring Break. That night, the teams will be flipping their start times. The varsity will face off starting at 6:00, while the JV will hit the field at 7:30 that night.
