Fighting to stay alive for a district playoff berth, the Braves fell short against the Wildcats last Friday night losing a tight one 28-19.
The defense kept the team in the game, accounting for five turnovers, including a 50-yd fumble return touchdown by C.J. Reeves but the Braves were unable to capitalize on the Winter Park mistakes.
Nik DeLoach and Jaxsen Anagnostis each had rushing touchdowns in the contest.
The squad will travel to Colonial this Thursday night in a final district game, with kick-off at 7:00.

The freshmen football team closed out their season with a win, defeating East River 38-26. The Braves were led on offense with touchdowns from DJ Jones, Kian Kuntsen and Damion Roche. The defense was led by Zac Mizell and Clay Alexander with fumble recoveries. The Braves ended the season with a 5-2 record.
